'Animal Kingdom', a L.O.T.E(Languages Other Than English) Programme,was firstly conceived as the result of a combination of assorted factors.

When in Summer (January) 1998 I enrolled at Curtin University to attend the "Using Computers  in the Classroom Unit" for my Bachelor of Education, I did not imagine all the positive experiences I would gain from it.

Here I must mention specially to Dr Sue Trinidad and Mr Ian Thompson,the two great Lecturers I was so fortunate to have. They were very dedicated and patient, offering me lots of support and guidance whenever I needed it.

Besides, I was able to apply in this Unit  the knowledge previously acquired in a LOTE METHODOLOGY COURSE, completed at Murdoch University and which was magnificently presented by Ms Lindy Norris.

However, I would be very ungrateful if I do not recognize the very valuable help my great
friend Mr Michael Black(as well and excellent teacher) has given me. Michael has spent heaps of his own time showing me how to create a Web Page and sorting out the problems I have found doing it. I must admit I could name a few.

Hopefully, the result of the fantastic support I have had and my own experience into the classroom would have produced a programme you will enjoy.
